Certification in the understanding of electric and hybrid vehicles, how to safely shut down a vehicle and check for zero voltages.
Certification in the understanding of hybrid vehicles, level 2 & 3. Level 3 qualifies you to the level of removing and refitting of high voltage components. Service and repair. Knowledge of many service functions also covered.
This is a 3 day course.
DVSA approved course is for new MOT testers and for those who have been away from testing for more than five years, or been suspended by DVSA.
Understanding ADAS, including certification.
Anyone running an MOT testing station, as an AE or AEDM, will require this qualification.
I used to run my own busy MOT station and have taken MOT managers course for 11 years.
Eleven courses to enhance diagnostic knowledge. Brilliant to boost Technicians knowledge from level 2-3 to 4/5
this is with an option at the end of the 11 courses to sit a 1 day accreditation and become an IMI accredited Diagnostic Technician.
Level 3 qualification suitable for those already with 4 years experience in the trade but lacking qualifications. VTAA or IMI LVI great way to satisfy the requirements by DVSA to become an MOT tester. 10 years + experience taking these courses.
